The grounds are gorgeous, the staff are so professional and attentive, the food is lovely and the accomodation was superb. I want to personally thank Chantelle, who's part of the events team and our wedding coordinator. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to you for everything you did to make our day so special. “We booked salomons estate for our gothic wedding! The grounds are so beautiful and well kept, they were perfect and picturesque for our wedding photos. Inside is just as beautiful and rustic, gorgeous staircase, we picked the theatre room which has so much character and really fit our aesthetic perfectly! But there are so many other beautiful rooms as options! Everything went perfectly on the day, I cannot thank the staff enough especially Chantelle for their hard work making our day perfect! The communication from the staff leading up to the wedding and after was amazing! They were very helpful and always willing to cater to us and any changes we wanted to make. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, its absolutely beautiful! We were so impressed! We even said we would love to return for a couples/family holiday and stay again. Maybe for our anniversary! I 100% recommend salomons, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are amazing, the accommodation is fantastic and the prices are really good! Everyone complimented the food also, the gourmet bbq buffet was DELICIOUS! Thankyou so much everyone! Mr & Mrs Hayward 🖤❤️”

“For my wedding celebration, after exhausive searches we chose Salomons and I can’t recommend Salomons highly enough !! From beginning to end , everyone had gone the extra mile to make sure all ran smoothly The team worked hard to make sure everything ran like a well oiled machine. The terrace, the park, the gold room all ideal and the children have lots of space to play in and run. Buffet and all of the food was excellent. An advantage is that all the family and friends could stay on side in cottages on site 👍”

“The most perfect wedding venue – everything we could have hoped for! We booked our wedding at Salomons Estate almost three years in advance, and from the very beginning we knew we had found something truly special. We were looking for a venue that could incorporate a lot — a grand venue in Kent that was dog-friendly, could accommodate a large number of guests staying on site, offered multiple beautiful rooms so our ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception could all take place separately without room turnarounds, an epic stage for a live band, stunning grounds for photos, and complete freedom to customise the day to our own taste. Not too much to ask… right? 😂 We fully expected to have to compromise on some things — until we found Salomons. It didn’t just tick boxes… it ticked every single one. From the moment you arrive, the venue has a real “wow factor” that many other venues in the same price bracket simply don’t have. The setting, the architecture, and the grounds feel instantly impressive and special. Our guests were genuinely blown away when they arrived, and we had so many comments about how stunning the venue was — it truly set the tone for the whole day. Throughout the long lead-up, the team were always receptive, friendly, and incredibly helpful whenever we had questions. Then, around three months before the wedding, we were assigned our wedding coordinator, Erin — and honestly, she was outstanding. Not only was Erin incredibly professional and organised, she is also a genuinely lovely person, which makes such a difference on a wedding day. She went above and beyond for us in every possible way. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side — we got married during Storm Amy! But Erin made the absolute best of it, driving us around the estate in the golf buggy between rain showers so we could still get our photos. Despite the extreme wind, she was calm, positive, and completely brilliant. She kept the entire day running smoothly and made sure we were able to see both the wedding breakfast and evening reception rooms fully decorated before guests entered — something that meant so much to us. Her communication in the run-up was fantastic too. Emails were always answered quickly and professionally — and I certainly had a lot of questions in the final weeks! Every other member of staff we encountered was equally wonderful, and so many of our guests commented that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding — which says it all. Salomons were incredibly accommodating with everything we wanted to do, never making us feel restricted or limited in how we planned our day. We were never told we "can't do that". The accommodation was also lovely. We stayed in the Bridal Cottage for two nights, and guests stayed across the single and double rooms as well as the garden cottages — with absolutely zero complaints from anyone. If I had one small critique, it would be the bridal suite used for getting ready in the morning. It is quite small, with limited space to hang large dresses, and it’s accessed via a couple of very narrow corridors. Once my bridal party, hair and makeup team, photographers, and I were all in the room, it definitely became a squeeze — and both getting into and then trying to manoeuvre my big wedding dress down the hallway was a challenge in itself 😂 There are several large conference rooms just off the main hallway, and if one of these could be converted into a spacious bridal suite in the future, it would make an already incredible venue even better. The only thing I would change about our wedding day was the weather… and as fabulous as Salomons are, that’s one thing they can’t control! We would 100% recommend Salomons Estate and the team without hesitation.”

“Wow I don’t even really know where to start, this is the most perfect wedding venue with the most incredible staff. Salomons were incredible from the absolute beginning. I cannot thank Leah enough. She knew from the start how desperate we were to have an outside ceremony, despite the 80% rain forecast leading up to the day. She got absolutely drenched setting up the ceremony outside, and we were so lucky to have a break in the rain to get to have an outside ceremony. She was also incredible accommodating every idea I had all the way down to an Aperol & Limoncello Spritz station, whilst also sending me ideas herself e.g the Prosecco spray that ended up being some of our favourite pictures! My husband and I had the most amazing day and cannot recommend Salomons enough - thank you again!!!”
