The Magic of Christmas
As December unfolds, a touch of Christmas magic graces Salomons Estate. Children can enjoy festive colouring, decorate shortbread biscuits and create magical reindeer food with Santa's cheerful elves, before the highlight of the day arrives: a special knock on Santa's door.
The magic doesn't stop there. Little adventurers can head out on our Festive Reindeer Trail, searching for hidden doors, each one bringing them closer to a well-earned cup of hot chocolate. Our Bistro serves teas, speciality coffees and lunch throughout the day to keep everyone fuelled.

Pick a date, choose your tickets and pay without leaving this page. Only six people can enter the Grotto per booking, but the whole family is welcome to enjoy the museum, Bistro and grounds throughout the day.

Before You Arrive
There is plenty of free parking on site. Once you have arrived, head to Reception in the main manor house where our elves will be ready to greet you. The Grotto experience takes place on the ground floor of the mansion house.
Whether you choose a morning visit for your early risers or an afternoon slot, our Bistro serves teas, speciality coffees and lunch options throughout the day. A selection of snacks is available to purchase from 10:00am until noon.
Please take as many photos as you like during your visit. The only exception is inside Santa's grotto, where you will have the chance to purchase a keepsake photo instead.
