Private celebrations require special attention so all events will receive the services of a specially assigned host. Each 75cl bottle of wine yields
6 x 125ml glasses and a copy of our wine list is included in this pack. Our bar can remain open until 11.30pm (function ends midnight) Sunday – Wednesday. There is an optional extension, at a cost of £250.00, until 12.30am (function ends 1.00am) on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The bar can operate on a cash or credit basis or a mixture of the two. Pre-arranged bar tabs may be added to the final invoice if required. Corkage is charged at £13 per bottle for wine and £15.00 per bottle for Champagne and Sparkling wines.
We highly recommend our resident DJs who are able to cater for all musical tastes. The fee is £558 until 12am or 1am. These timings, are subject to availability and licensing. Please contact our Events Team if you wish to use them. Alternatively, or in addition, we would be happy to accommodate a band of your choice for which the Theatre is recommended. Discos and bands playing in the Dining Room are subject to strict conditions and must use the installed noise limiter set at 97db. Further details can be obtained from the Events Team.
We have ceiling Fairy Lights available in our Drawing Room or our Theatre, available for you to use at your event. These are permanently up, however if you wish to remove them, there will be a charge.
Door staff will be required for functions to include music, live or recorded. The sales team will be happy to discuss your requirements on an individual basis.
Fireworks displays are permitted but must be provided by our nominated contractor, Pyrovision, www.pyro-vision.com, please contact them on 01775 630114 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have a wheelchair available if required for guest use. The first and ground floor rooms are equally accessible for disabled guests and both have appropriate WC facilities. There is also an induction loop available on request. In addition two of our single bedrooms have been adapted for wheelchair access.
We have a music system available to play your CDs / iPod. This must pre-requested.
Clients may wish to decorate their chosen function room with flowers, banners, balloons, candles (in appropriate holders) etc. Access times for decorating rooms can only be confirmed one week prior to your function.
Salomon’s wishes to promote a healthy environment for visitors and staff, therefore the grounds as well as the buildings have been made smoke-free. Smokers will be able to use designated smoking areas on the estate which are conveniently located close to the entrance doors.
We do not charge for service. Gratuities are welcomed at the client’s discretion.
All the ground floor function rooms open out directly onto the terrace, which has delightful views across the gardens and main lake. It is perfect for alfresco dining during the summer months.
A charming, elegant room leading onto the terrace with magnificent views of the gardens. For an intimate drinks reception for 60 people or a sit-down function for 45 people the Gold Room is a delightful venue. It can also be used in conjunction with the adjoining Leighton Room for larger parties.
The Leighton Room and adjoining Gold Room can be used together as a private suite for a drinks reception followed by a meal. Alternatively the rooms can be used together for larger receptions.
The historic Victorian Theatre is one of the largest banqueting rooms in Tunbridge Wells and is ideal for a wide range of events and functions. It can accommodate a dinner dance for 200 or a drinks reception for 400 and benefits from its own entrance, cloakroom facilities and bar.
The magnificent Welte organ sits proudly on the stage and makes a spectacular backdrop for any event. A host of themed events can be created to completely transform the Theatre for a very unique occasion.
With wonderful acoustics the Theatre is perfect for discos and any form of live music and creates a superb party atmosphere.
This splendid room comfortably accommodates up to 100 guests for a sit-down meal with a drinks reception served in the lounge bar or Conservatory.
